Los Angeles Chargers Re-Sign Former BYU Defensive Back Michael Davis

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Los Angeles Chargers announced that they’ve re-signed former BYU Cougars defensive back Michael Davis.
Los Angeles and Davis came to an agreement for a new deal on March 15.
Davis will stay with the Chargers on a multi-year contract.

Davis’ new contract is a three-year deal worth $25.2 million, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The contract reportedly includes $15 million in guaranteed money.

Last season, Davis recorded 63 total tackles, 48 solo tackles, three interceptions, 14 pass breakups, and one touchdown in 16 games played.

It was Davis’ fourth season in the league. He’s spent his entire career with the Chargers.
After going undrafted out of BYU in 2017, Davis signed with Los Angeles.
During his four NFL seasons, the former Cougar DB has recorded 170 total tackles, 133 solo tackles, two forced fumbles, five interceptions, 32 pass breakups, and one touchdown.
He’s played in 59 games.
