SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz beat the Boston Celtics 117-109, and with the win, coach Quin Snyder earned his 300th victory with the team.
Snyder is only the second coach in team history to reach the 300 win mark, amassing the total in just 521 games.
Hall of Fame coach Jerry Sloan earned 1,221 wins during his career as a head coach, 1,127 of which came while overseeing the Jazz from 1988-2011.

It’s been a milestone-filled season for Snyder, now in his seventh year with the Jazz. In January, Snyder won his 278th game with the Jazz passing Frank Layden for the second-most in team history.
The coach has swept the Western Conference Coach of the Month Award, earning the December-January nod followed up by the award for February. He’s joins Sloan as only the second coach in team history to win the Coach of the Month Award three times, and the only coach in team history to win it twice in the same season.
Snyder was named Western Conference All-Star Coach in February and led Team LeBron to a 170-150 win over Team Durant and the Eastern Conference.
It's official, Quin Snyder will be the coach of the Western Conference #NBAAllStar team in March.

“It’s just a statement about our team and our players,” Snyder said about his team’s play. “The way that they’ve played, obviously winning games, but ultimately that that’s the reason you’re there is because your team is winning.”
The Jazz own the best record in the NBA moving to 29-10 with Snyder’s 300th win.
