Utah State Players Make 2020-21 Men’s Basketball All-Conference Teams

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Mountain West Conference revealed that multiple Utah State men’s basketball players were named to the league’s All-Conference teams.
The Mountain West announces its 2020-21 All-Conference teams on Tuesday, March 9.
Neemias Queta
USU center Neemias Queta was named First Team All-MWC. He also received Defensive Player of the Year honors. A day earlier, Queta was honored as the league’s Player of the Year.
This season, Queta is averaging 14.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 3.0 blocks, and 1.2 steals in 25 games.

Justin Bean
Justin Bean was named Second Team All-MWC.
This season, Bean is averaging 11.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He is shooting 50.9 percent from the floor.

Alphonso Anderson
Alphonso Anderson was recognized at the Mountain West Sixth Man of the Year.
This season, Anderson is averaging 6.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per contest.

Marco Anthony
Marco Anthony joined Queta on the conference’s Defensive Team.
This season, Anthony is averaging 10.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.4 blocks, and 0.9 steals per contest.

The four players helped the Aggies finish the regular season with a 18-7 overall record, including 15-4 in Mountain West Conference play.
Utah State’s next game is in the Mountain West Conference Tournament. The No. 2 seed Aggies will take on the winner of UNLV and Air Force. The game will tip-off on Thursday, March 11 at 7 p.m. (MDT). It will broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
