Weber State’s Regular Season Finale Against UNC Canceled Due To COVID-19

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State Athletics announced that the Wildcats’ men’s basketball team’s regular season finale against the Northern Colorado Bears has been canceled because of COVID-19 protocols.
The Wildcats were scheduled to host the Bears for their Senior Night on Saturday, March 6.
On Saturday morning, Weber State announced the cancellation and said the game would not be rescheduled.
The Wildcats previously defeated the Bears on March 4.

With the cancellation, Weber State finished the regular season with a 17-5 overall record, including 12-3 in Big Sky Conference games.

The Wildcats ended the regular season tied for second place in the Big Sky Conference with Eastern Washington.
Weber State’s next scheduled game will be in the upcoming Big Sky Tournament in Boise, Idaho. The tournament will begin in mid-March.
