Tony Finau Wraps Up WGC-Workday Championship In 14th Place

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – For the second straight round, Tony Finau went even par on Sunday to finish the WGC-Workday Championship in 14th place.
Tony Finau had an up and down round on Sunday but still finished in the top 15 of the WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession in Bradenton, Florida.
The Rose Park, Utah native showed up to The Concession Golf Club on Sunday wearing apparel to honor Tiger Woods. Finau showed up with a red shirt, black pants and his hat worn backwards. That was the attire Tiger Woods would wear on Sunday rounds during his PGA Tour career. Woods is currently recovering from a single car rollover crash on Tuesday, February 23. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery.

On Sunday, Finau shot an even par 72 for the second consecutive round. He began the final round with a par on the first hole before getting a double bogey on No. 2. Finau quickly bounced back with a birdie on No. 3, par on No. 4 and back-to-back birdies on the fifth and sixth holes. Then he made eagle on the seventh hole before rounding out the front nine with a par on No. 8 and bogey on No. 9. Finau shot -1 on the front nine. The back nine was a different story. Finau started with six straight pars before his only bogey on the back nine and wrapping up the round with back-to-back pars.

On Sunday, Finau had one eagle, three birdies, 11 pars, two bogeys and one double bogey. For the tournament, Finau had one eagle, 18 birdies, 45 pars, six bogeys and two double bogeys.
