Jazz Center Rudy Gobert Recovers On Defense For Big Block On Miami’s Bam Adebayo

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert swatted a shot by Heat big man Bam Adebayo after an impressive recovery on defense during the third quarter during Utah’s game against Miami.

The Heat hosted the Jazz on Friday, February 26.

With 1:52 left in the third quarter, Gobert recovered on defense and spun into the paint to defend an incoming shot attempt by Adebayo.

Gobert rose straight up and rejected the Heat star’s shot.

After Utah trailed by four points at halftime, Gobert and the Jazz scored 41 points in the third quarter.

At the end of the third quarter, the Jazz trailed the Heat, 96-94.

Gobert had 11 points, nine rebounds, one assist, one steal, and a block during the first 36 minutes.

The Jazz shot 47.8 percent from the field but allowed the Heat to go for a blistering 51.5 percent.
