Weber State Shoots Nearly 60 Percent In Win Over Sacramento State

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Weber State men’s basketball team posted an excellent shooting performance to beat the Sacramento State Hornets.
The Hornets hosted the Wildcats on Thursday, February 25.
Weber State finished the contest shooting nearly 60 percent from the field and won the game, 82-73.
The Wildcats played a solid first half and led by six points at the halftime break.

Over the final 20 minutes of action, they added onto their lead and came away with the victory.
Weber State ended up shooting 59.3 percent overall and 23.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Seikou Sisoho Jawara led the team with 19 points.
The Wildcats limited the Hornets to 44.6 percent from the field, including 30.0 percent from three.
Sacramento State was led by Bryce Fowler’s 19 points.
With the win, the Wildcats improved to 15-5 on the season and a record of 10-3 in Big Sky Conference games.

Weber State’s next game is the second of a back-to-back with Sacramento State.
The Wildcats and Hornets will rematch on Saturday, February 27 at 12:05 p.m. (MDT).
