Weber State Announces Football Game Against Cal Poly Postponed Due To COVID-19

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State Athletics announced that the Wildcats’ upcoming football game against Cal Poly has been postponed because of Big Sky Conference COVID-19 protocols.
The Wildcats were slated to play at Cal Poly on Saturday, March 6.
Weber State said that the postponement was “due to COVID-19 protocols within the Mustang program.”
The football game has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 17.

When the Big Sky first released its spring football schedule earlier this year, March 20 and April 17 were set as bye weeks and potential rescheduling dates for any disruptions to the original slate of games.
Cal Poly had already moved its game against UC Davis to March 20.
Weber State will begin its 2021 spring season against Idaho State on Saturday, February 7. The game will take place in Pocatello,Ā Idaho. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. (MDT).
