Currently, managers were able to select upward of 50 players to their preliminary roster. However, that number will be dwindled down to 20 players no later than March 10th.
The tournament is expected to start on March 18th with the United States preparing for Costa Rica in the first game of the group stage. The USA will then play the Dominican Republic on March 21st before ending the group stage with a blockbuster fixture against Mexico on March March 24.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals. The two teams who win the semifinals will not only make the final of the tournament but will also earn a spot to represent their country at the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament at the Tokyo Summer Games.
