SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Skyline high school guard Abigale Leonard had the play of the week after hitting a three-pointer that she wasn’t necessarily trying to make.

Near half court, Leonard had the ball and threw it over her head as it looked like she was trying to pass to a teammate close to the rim. Her throw went right through the rim for a three-pointer against East.

Skyline beat the Leopards 48-37 on February 12. Leonard had 5 points on the night. Her only three-pointer was the play of the week. The Eagles finished the season with a 14-6 record. They will have the No. 9 seed in the 5A state tournament and will host No. 24 Woods Cross on Tuesday, February 23 at 7 p.m.
