Salt Lake Bees Announce 2021 Schedule, No Update On Fan Attendance

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Salt Lake Bees announced their 2021 schedule on Thursday morning.
The Bees are affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels and will play a 142 game slate this season, after not playing at all last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The team will open the season at Smith’s Ballpark in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 8 against the El Paso Chihuahuas. Their last game of the season will be on September 21 in Reno, Nevada.

Minor League Baseball has implemented some changes to the scheduling structure in order to minimize travel. Each series will be six games and teams will be given every Wednesday off, with a few exceptions.
The team said an announcement on fan attendance and ticket sales will be announced in the “near future” and that the team will work in coordination with locals and state health department officials.
