SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Adam Sandler has recreated his famous golf swing 25 years after Happy Gilmore hit the box office. The response online proved better than any of us could have imagined.
Happy loves you all! Thanks for everything! pic.twitter.com/p1aY9JcFWh

During the video, he calls out Shooter McGavin by stating “this is for you,” to which McGavin responded.
You going to call Shooter out? @ me next time Gilmore. No way that drive was straight either. Probably gave another innocent bystander a concussion. Loser. https://t.co/hNj9UjaKgp

The chaos continues with Ben Stiller getting involved in the conversation. Stiller, for those who have forgotten, played the role of the evil Arts & Crafts professor who frequently threatened the elderly with landscaping responsibilities if they did not adhere to his knitting requests.
That’s a beautiful swing Mr. Gilmore. Congrats on your anniversary, and being such a loving grandson. So happy to be a small part of taking good care of her during her “golden years”. 😉

Finally, McGavin could not keep his mouth shut and had to respond to Stiller.
Loving grandson? That deadbeat Gilmore didn’t even have a job and couldn’t even house the person who helped raise him. I treated Grandma way better than Happy ever did. Even offered Grandma a maid position. People forget that. https://t.co/jfrCMqKGqF

He also replied to Sandler with a shot of his own and a challenge to meet up on the course.

Former Utah Basketball forward and current Los Angeles Laker did not hold back showing his support for Sandler who was under attack by McGavin.
Favorite movie of all time!! @AdamSandler looks like you could still hit the house down the street🤣🤣🤣 https://t.co/UhsorIw3B3
