SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Joe Ingles passed Pistol Pete Maravich for 7th in career assists in Utah Jazz history in the first quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Entering the game against the Sixers, Joe Ingles needed one assist to pass Pistol Pete Maravich on the Jazz career assists and it happened early in the game. The assist came in the way that many of his career assists came and that was in the pick and roll.
Rudy Gobert set a screen for Ingles. As the Australian went around the screen, Gobert cut. Ingles had the option to keep the ball or dish off to Gobert. He opted to throw a quick under-hand pass to the slashing Frenchman, who finished with a right-handed dunk.
