SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Sports teams in the state of Utah took to social media on Sunday to celebrate Valentine’s Day and did so in clever ways.

Valentine’s Day has brought many cards for people to use that involve their athletes and the sports teams in the state of Utah took advantage of that.

Here are some of the clever cards and posts that the athletic teams posted on social media on Sunday.

Utah Athletics Celebrates Valentine’s Day

The Utah football Twitter account posted one of the most clever and humorous cards. They put a picture of Britain Covey in an old school football uniform and a photo of him from the 2020 season.

The caption on the card read:

“I have loved you longer than Britain Covey has been a Ute.”

The Red Rocks are wishing all a Happy Valentine’s Day.

“Whether it’s a Gaelntine’s or Valentine’s type of day, we hope U have a great one!”

Utah State Aggies

USU athletics started a thread of Valentine’s cards that feature their student athletes. Couple of examples include “Be my Valentine? I know you Neemy,” in honor of men’s basketball center Neemias Queta.

Also, “I see myself BEAN with you!” That was with Justin Bean’s face on the card. Another is “It must be AUTUMN bc I am falling for you,” with a picture of Aggie gymnast Autumn Deharde.
