Utes Can’t Trim Deficit, Fall To Stanford
The Runnin’ Utes had a hard time trimming the Stanford double-digit lead as they were able to get to within 10 points at certain points in the second half. They eventually trimmed the deficit to six with under one minute left.
When Utah was making any attempts to get back into the game, Spencer Jones would knock down a three-pointer. He made five of them on Saturday night.
The Runnin’ Utes dropped their record to 9-8 overall and 6-7 in Pac-12 play. They will be back on the road to face Oregon State on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
