SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo called the Jazz the “best team in the West” following Utah’s season series sweeping victory over Milwaukee.
The Jazz hosted the Bucks at Vivint Arena on Friday, February 12.
After a close first quarter, Utah broke open the game and ended up winning by 14 points, 129-115.
Following his team’s loss, the two-time NBA MVP praised the Jazz as the top team in the Western Conference.
“It just looks fun. Like when I watch them play, it looks fun, it looks easy,” Antetokounmpo said. “It looks simple. For sure, they look like us last year, and man, when you’re at that point and you’re playing with that confidence, you’re hard to beat for sure.”

Antetokounmpo’s praise for the Jazz comes amid Utah’s 21-5 start to the season.
It’s the best start by a Jazz team in franchise history, surpassing even the squads that reached back-to-back NBA Finals in the late 1990s.
Not only is the mark a franchise-best but Utah currently owns the NBA’s top record.
The Jazz are currently 0.5 games ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers for the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference standings.
Utah’s next game is against the Miami Heat on Saturday, February 13 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
