Poor Shooting Dooms Weber State In Road Loss To Montana

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Weber State men’s basketball team struggled to see the ball go through the cylinder in a double-digit loss to the Montana Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies hosted the Wildcats on Thursday, February 11.
Weber State finished the contest shooting 44.0 percent from the field but only 21.4 percent from beyond the arc.
The Wildcats only connected on three three-point field goals in an 80-67 loss.

In addition to the poor shooting from outside, Weber State allowed Montana to make 52.6 percent of their shots and bury half of their attempts from downtown.
Four Wildcats scored in double figures, led by Seikou Sisoho Jawara’s 19 points.

Kyle Owens led Montana with 27 points.
With the loss, the Wildcats fell to 11-5 on the season and 6-3 in Big Sky Conference games.

Weber State’s next game is the second of a back-to-back with Montana. The Grizzlies will host the Wildcats again on Saturday, February 13 at 2:30 p.m. (MDT).
