Four Players Score 15-Plus In Weber State’s Win Over Montana State

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Four Wildcats scored 15 or more points in leading Weber State to a win over the Montana State Bobcats.
The Wildcats hosted the Bobcats at the Dee Events Center on Thursday, February 4.
All five of Weber State’s starters scored in doubles figures in a 96-88 win over Montana State.
Six different Wildcats scored 10-plus points in the win.

The trio of Dontay Bassett, Seikou Sisoho Jawara, and Isiah Brown led Weber State with 17 points apiece.

After trailing the Bobcats by two points at halftime, Weber State surged after the break and outscored Montana State by 10 points over the final 20 minutes of game time.

The Wildcats finished the game shooting 63.3 percent from the field, including 46.7 percent from distance.
Montana State ended shooting 49.1 percent overall and 50.0 percent on triples.

The Bobcats were led by Abdul Mohamed’s 18 points.
With the win, the Wildcats improved to a record of 10-4 on the season and 5-2 in Big Sky Conference games.

Weber State’s next contest is the second game of a back-to-back series with Montana State. The Wildcats are scheduled to host the Bobcats again on Saturday, February 6 at 12 p.m. (MDT).
