Utah Gymnastics Road Meet Against Stanford Canceled

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Gymnastics announced on Monday afternoon that their road meet against Stanford on February 15 has been canceled.
What led to the Utah Gymnastics meet against Stanford to get canceled was due to the Cardinal needing to prepare for the season now that Santa Clara County lifted their COVID-19 restrictions.
The Red Rocks released the following statement on Monday.
“The meet was expected to be the first competition of the season for Stanford, which returned to indoor training on Wednesday, January 27 after Santa Clara County’s restrictions regarding indoor sports were updated and allowed the team to resume indoor activities. The decision to cancel the meet has been made to ensure that the Cardinal gymnasts have adequate training to prepare and compete safely at the highest level.”
We will now have a bye week following this weekend's meet. https://t.co/xAMFF9B5q8
