Darthard, Utah Valley’s Hot Shooting From Three Downs Tarleton State

OREM, Utah – The Utah Valley men’s basketball team shot the ball at a high clip from three-point range in a win over the Tarleton State Texans.
The Wolverines hosted the Texans at the UCCU Center on Friday, January 29.
UVU shot 10-17 on three-pointers for 58.8 percent in a 73-60 win over Tarleton State.
The Wolverines jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first half and coasted to victory in the second half.

Five Wolverine players connected from beyond the arc, led by Le’Tre Darthard’s five triples. Darthard finished the contest with a game-high 19 points on 7-9 field goals.

Utah Valley had four players score in double figures.
The Wolverines ended the game shooting 58.1 percent from the field.

Tarleton State was limited to 41.2 percent shooting, including 27.3 percent from distance.
The Texans were led by Jonathan Jackson Jr.’s 18 points.
With the win, the Wolverines improved to 6-6 on the season and 4-0 in Western Athletic Conference games.

Utah Valley’s next game is the second of a back-to-back series with Tarleton State. The Wolverines will host the Texans again on Saturday, January 30 at 6 p.m. (MDT).
