Utah Men, Women’s Basketball Games Postponed

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Both Utah men’s and women’s basketball teams had one game postponed, which was announced on Friday.
Utah men’s basketball had their game against Arizona State postponed, KSL Sports was told it was not COVID-19 related. The game was originally scheduled for December 22, 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19 issues with the Utes’ program. Then it was rescheduled for Tuesday, February 2 in Tempe, Arizona.
The Runnin’ Utes released the following statement on Friday.
“The Utah men’s basketball game in Tempe, Ariz., next Tuesday, Feb. 2, has been postponed to a date yet to be determined after coordinating with Arizona State and the Pac-12 Conference. The two institutions will work with the league office to find another mutually agreeable date.”

The men’s team will be in action on Saturday, January 30 at 12:30 p.m. when they take on Colorado in Boulder. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.
Lynne Robert’s team had their game against Oregon was postponed just 3 hours before tip-off at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. The game was called off due to COVID-19 related issues with the Ducks’ program. An update on the direction of rescheduling the contest will be made at a later date.
Utah women’s basketball’s next scheduled game will be on Sunday, January 31 against Oregon State. The game will tip-off at 12 p.m. MST and will be streamed at UtahUtes.com.
