Rollie Worster’s Near Triple-Double Leads Utah State To Win Over UNLV

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Rollie Worster’s near triple-double helped lead the Utah State men’s basketball team to a win over the UNLV Rebels.
The Rebels hosted the Aggies at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Wednesday, January 27.
USU’s win avenged a loss to the Rebels on January 25 with an 83-74 win on Wednesday night.
Worster led the Aggies with an impressive performance that nearly ended with a triple-double stat line. The freshman guard scored 11 of his career-high 19 points in the second half and finished the contest 7-13 shooting. He added nine rebounds, nine assists, and three steals in the victory.

After owning a three-point lead at halftime, Worster and the Aggies took control of the game early in the second half and played with a double-digit lead down the stretch.

All five of Utah State’s starters scored in double figures.
In addition to Worster, Justin Been, Neemias Queta, Brock Miller, and Marco Anthony each scored at least 12 points.
USU shot 49.2 percent overall and 52.6 percent from downtown.

UNLV was limited to 40.4 percent from the field, including 35.7 percent from beyond the arc.
The Rebels were led by David Jenkins Jr.’s 29 points.

With the win, the Aggies improved to 13-5 on the season and 10-2 in Mountain West Conference play.

Utah State’s next game is against the Fresno State Bulldogs on Thursday, February 4 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
