SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson cooked the Mavericks’ defense for 22 points during the first half of Utah’s game against Dallas.

The Jazz hosted the Mavericks at Vivint Arena on Wednesday, January 27.

During the first 24 minutes of game time, Clarkson torched the net for 22 points on 8-14 field goals.

15 of Clarkson’s points came during the second quarter.

Utah’s sixth man buried three of his seven attempts from beyond the arc on the way to a game-high scoring total.

Rudy Gobert Impression

Not only was Clarkson effective on the offensive side of the game but he recorded an impressive block that had to have made Rudy Gobert proud.

With 8:32 left in the second quarter, Clarkson swatted an attempt by Dallas’ Jalen Brunson.

In addition to his block, Clarkson added four rebounds and a steal to his first half box score.

He posted a plus-eight rating during his 18 minutes on the hardwood.

At the end of the first half, the Jazz held a 69-48 lead.

Utah’s game against Dallas is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet and 97.5 FM.
