Knicks G Austin Rivers Makes 15 Straight Shots In Three Quarters Against Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – New York Knicks guard Austin Rivers made 15 straight shots in three quarters in a two game span against the Utah Jazz.
Austin Rivers finished the previous matchup against the Jazz, making his last five shots in the Knicks win on Wednesday, January 6 in New York. In the first half of the rematch on Tuesday night, Rivers made his first 10 shots including five three-pointers for 25 points in 12 minutes.
The Knicks had a 59-46 lead at the halftime break.
He did it to the @utahjazz to finish the last game, and he's doing it again tonight.
Austin Rivers is a perfect 8-8 from the floor and has 19 first half points for the @nyknicks.

Rivers finished with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in the win on January 6. He shot 9-of-14 from the field and 5-for-7 from downtown, including five straight makes to end the game.
On Tuesday night at Vivint Arena, Rivers was one of three Knicks to score in double figures. R.J. Barrett and Julius Randle each had 11 points. For the Jazz, Rudy Gobert and Jordan Clarkson each had 10 points at the halftime break. Royce O’Neale added 9 points. Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley combined for 4 points on 1-of-13 shooting from the field and 0-for-7 from beyond the arc.
The Jazz are on their fourth game of their six-game homestand. They will play the last two games of the homestand against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, January 27 at 7 p.m. MST and Friday, January 29 at 8 p.m. MST.
