Big Sky Conference Revises 2021 Spring Football Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Big Sky Conference announced that they have made revisions to their spring football schedule for the 2021 season.

The Big Sky Conference made these revisions to the 2021 football schedule because four teams will play a smaller non-conference schedule and one opting out completely.

Montana, Montana State, Northern Colorado and Portland State will play smaller non-conference schedules this spring while Sacramento State will not compete at all.

Eight teams in the Big Sky will play a six-game schedule which will start at the end of February.

Weber State Big Sky Conference Revisions

With the five schools opting out of conference play, the Wildcats will now open the season with two road games. They will travel to Idaho State on February 27 before taking on Cal Poly on March 6.

Weber State will play their first home game on March 13 versus UC Davis. They will have a bye week followed by a home game against Northern Arizona on March 27. Their final road game will be at Southern Utah on April 3. The Wildcats will square off with Idaho State on April 10 to wrap up the regular season.

Southern Utah 2021 Spring Football Schedule Revisions

The Thunderbirds will begin the season on February 27 at Northern Arizona. Then they will play Idaho State in their home opener on March 6 before going on the road against Cal Poly on March 13. After their bye week, Southern Utah will travel to Idaho to face the Vandals.

Their last two games will be played in Cedar City against Weber State on April 3 and Northern Arizona on April 10.
