SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell drilled a three-pointer in the final seconds of the first half to give the Utah Jazz a 77-47 lead over the Golden State Warriors.

The three-pointer by Donovan Mitchell gave him 18 points in 19 minutes as the Jazz dropped nearly 80 points against Stephen Curry and the Warriors.

Despite scoring 77 points, the Jazz had just two players score in double figures. Other than Mitchell’s 18 points, Mike Conley added 15 points, all coming from beyond the arc.

Rudy Gobert, Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O’Neale each scored 9 points apiece for Utah. Derrick Favors chipped in 8 points and 5 boards, while Jordan Clarkson dropped 7 points off the bench. Georges Niang rounded out the Jazz scoring with two points.

For Golden State, Stephen Curry has 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists, while knocking down 3 triples. He is tied with Reggie Miller for second in NBA history for most three-pointers made in a career.

Andrew Wiggins has 11 points, while James Wiseman chipped in 7 points and 2 blocks.

The Jazz made 12 of their 28 three-point attempts in the first half. Golden State went 5-of-17 for 31 percent. It was a great start for the Jazz as they went on a 14-0 run before the Warriors scored their first points of the game. Curry had a big opening quarter to keep Golden State in the game as the Jazz outscored them 39-30 in the first.

It was close until midway through the second quarter when the Jazz pulled away and dropped 38 points. They held the Warriors just 17 points in the quarter.
