BYU Women’s Basketball Game At No. 20 Gonzaga Postponed Due To COVID Protocols

PROVO, Utah – The WCC showdown featuring BYU Women’s Basketball against No. 20 Gonzaga in The Kennel has been postponed. The game was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the BYU program.
It’s the fourth game in the last five scheduled games that have been postponed on BYU’s schedule, and it’s the second game this week to get pushed back.

BYU made a trip to the Pacific Northwest to Portland and found out yesterday their game against the Pilots was postponed. Now Portland and Gonzaga have switched up their schedules and will play on Saturday, January 23rd.
BYU Women’s Basketball returns to action next week
BYU (8-2, 4-1 WCC) and Gonzaga (12-2, 6-0 WCC) are currently the top two teams in the West Coast Conference standings.
The WCC is working to reschedule the BYU/Gonzaga contest for a later date.
BYU is scheduled to return to action next Saturday, January 30th, when they host San Diego at the Marriott Center. The Toreros handed BYU their lone conference loss so far this season, back on January 4.
