Weber State Sets School Record For Three-Pointers In Win Over Yellowstone Christian College

OGDEN, Utah – The Weber State men’s basketball team set a school record for the most three-pointers made in a game in their win over the Yellowstone Christian College Centurions.
The Wildcats hosted the Centurions at the Dee Events Center on Saturday, January 16.
Weber State buried a program-best 22 triples in a 124-44 victory.
The Wildcats finished the contest 22-33 for 66.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

The previous school record for most threes in a game was 19.

Four Weber State players scored in double figures against Yellowstone Christian College.
Darweshi Hunter led the Wildcats with 17 points on 6-8 field goals.

The Wildcats ended the contest shooting 68.1 percent overall.

Yellowstone Christian College was limited to 26.5 percent shooting, including 21.4 percent from downtown.
The Centurions were led by TJ Rivera’s 17 points.
With the win, the Wildcats improved to a record of 5-3 this season.
Weber State’s next game is against the Tarleton Texans on Sunday, January 17 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
