Saints List QB Taysom Hill As ‘Questionable’ For NFC Divisional Round Against Buccaneers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The New Orleans Saints listed former BYU quarterback Taysom Hill as “Questionable” with a knee injury for the upcoming NFC Divisional Round game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Saints are scheduled to host the Buccaneers on Sunday, January 17.
On Friday, January 15, Hill was one of two New Orleans players with their game status in doubt. In addition to Hill, Saints running back Latavius Murray was listed as questionable.
According to the game’s injury report, Hill did not participate in the Saints’ practices on January 13 or 14. He was limited in Friday’s practice.

Hill and the Saints finished the regular season with a 12-4 record.
New Orleans did not play in Super Wild Card Weekend last week after earning a bye week as the No. 2 seed in the NFC.
The former BYU signal-caller played in all 16 regular season games for the Saints, including four starts at quarterback.

As the starting quarterback, Hill led New Orleans to a 3-1 record.
This season, Hill has thrown for 928 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions with a 72.7 completion rate.

In addition to passing, Hill has 87 carries for 457 yards and eight touchdowns.

In the receiving game, he has eight catches for 98 yards and a touchdown.
The Saints are slated to kick-off against the Buccaneers on Sunday, January 17 at 4:40 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on FOX.
