Former Liberty, Judge Memorial OT Maisen Knight Returns Home To Play For Utah State

LOGAN, Utah – Former Judge Memorial and Liberty offensive tackle Maisen Knight announced he is going to return home to play for the Utah State Aggies.
Maisen Knight will be playing for Utah State after two seasons with Liberty. After a standout high school football career, Knight went to Ventura College in Ventura, California.
On January 9, Knight put his name into the transfer portal after graduating from Liberty. He wanted to transfer to start his MBA and finish his last season of football.
On Tuesday, January 12, Maisen announced via Twitter that he is going to Utah State.

When Knight went to Ventura College, played the 2016 and 2018 seasons, earning all-conference honors. He helped the team to an 11-2 record in 2018 and advancing to the CCCAA State Championship game. During the 2016 campaign, Ventura won the conference with an 8-3 record and an appearance in the National Bowl.
The 6’5, 209 lbs. offensive tackle received offers from Liberty, Grambling State, Kent State, Middle Tennessee State, Northern Illinois, Old Dominion, Southeast Missouri State, Texas State, Toledo and Youngstown State coming out of junior college.
After his time in JUCO, Knight went to Liberty where he played in three games as a redshirt junior in 2019. This past season, he played in every game as Liberty finished the 2020 campaign with a 10-1 record. They beat Western Kentucky, FIU, North Alabama, Louisiana-Monroe, Syracuse, Southern Miss, Virginia Tech, Western Carolina, UMass and Coastal Carolina. Their only loss came against North Carolina State.
