Jordan Clarkson Has Big Performance For Jazz In First Half Against Bucks

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson had a tremendous first half performance against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Jordan Clarkson poured in 23 points in the first half as the Jazz had a 65-58 lead over the Bucks. He shot 9-of-16 from the field and 4-for-8 from the three-point line in 21 minutes off the bench.

Clarkson is stepping up his game with Joe Ingles missing his first NBA game since 2015, which ended the longest active streak in the league for most consecutive games played.
Late in the second quarter, Clarkson had a really nice crossover that sent Bucks guard D.J. Augustine flying into his teammate.

As a team, Utah shot 14-for-27 from the three-point line in the first half which set a franchise record for most triples in a half. Donovan Mitchell had 12 points, making two threes. Mike Conley added 9 points as did Royce O’Neale. Bojan Bogdanovic posted 8 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
Clarkson’s 4 triples was the most on the team in the first half. Conley and O’Neale each made three. Mitchell and Bogdanovic knocked down two apiece.
For Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor and made two threes in three attempts.
The Bucks are one of the best three-point shooting teams in the league. In the first half they made 7 of their 20 attempts from beyond the arc.
Milwaukee is looking for their fourth straight win, while the Jazz are trying to snap a two-game losing streak. Utah is in the middle of a seven-game road trip, making their fourth stop of the trip in Milwaukee.
