SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz look to win a second straight game for the first time this season when they play the San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs are scheduled to host the Jazz on Sunday, January 3.

It will be the first contest on a seven-game road trip for Utah.

Through five games this season, the Jazz own a record of 3-2 and haven’t won two straight contests yet.

Utah’s leading scorer is Mike Conley, who has averaged 21.4 points per game.

Jazz vs. Spurs

Sunday’s game will be the first meeting between the Jazz and Spurs since the 2019-20 regular season finale. That game took place inside the NBA’s bubble in Florida.

Utah won the game, 118-112.

The Jazz last played the Spurs in San Antonio, Texas on January 29, 2019.

San Antonio beat Utah, 127-120.

Utah’s last true road victory over the Spurs occurred during Donovan Mitchell’s rookie season on February 3, 2018.

San Antonio this season

The Spurs enter the contest with a 2-3 record this season, including three straight losses.

San Antonio is led by DeMar Derozan’s 21.8 points per game.
