Jazz Center Rudy Gobert Throws Down Thunderous Dunk Against Phoenix

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert threw down a ferocious slam dunk during the opening minutes of the second half against the Phoenix Suns.
The Jazz hosted the Suns at Vivint Arena on Thursday, December 31.
With 8:26 left in the third quarter, Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell and Gobert connected a beautiful give-and-go.
Gobert fed Mitchell, who dished the ball back to the big man as he rolled towards the hoop.
The Jazz center rose up and threw down a fierce one-handed slam dunk.

Gobert’s dunk cut Phoenix’s lead to 59-56.

The dunk gave Gobert a team-high 14 points on 5-6 field goals. He also had eight rebounds and a block during his first 19 minutes on the floor.
Mitchell had 11 points on 5-14 shooting to go along with three rebounds, three assists, and a steal in 22 minutes.
