SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah football linebacker Devin Lloyd was named a 2020 Sporting News Second Team All-American after his stellar performance this season.
It’s the first All-American honor for Utah junior linebacker Devin Lloyd. He was named to the second team that Sporting News released on Tuesday morning. Lloyd is the second linebacker to earn All-American honors, joining Chase Hansen in 2018. It’s the seventh straight season that a Utah player has appeared as a Sporting News All-American.
Lloyd led the Utes in tackles this season with 48 in five games, along with a team-best 10 tackles for loss and two sacks. He was named a Butkus Award finalist recently.
So proud of you, @DevinLloyd_.
