Neemias Queta Dominates As Utah State Cruises Past San Jose State

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies cruised to an easy victory over the San Jose State Spartans behind a dominant performance by Neemias Queta.
The Aggies hosted the Spartans on Wednesday, December 23.
Queta worked SJSU on the defensive end all game long and helped the Aggies to an 85-52 win.
The USU center ended the game with six blocked shots.

In addition to his swats, Queta scored nine points on 4-9 shooting, pulled down 11 rebounds, and dished out four assists.

Rollie Worster led the Aggies with 15 points.
Brock Miller scored 12 points, while Sean Bairstow added 11 points.

Utah State shot 42.9 percent from the field, including 33.3 percent from downtown.
By comparison, San Jose State shot 23.4 percent overall and 20.0 percent beyond the arc.
The win was USU’s sixth consecutive victory in the head-to-head series with the Spartans.
It was also the Aggies’ fourth win in a row after they started the season with a 1-3 record.
With the win, Utah State improved to 5-3 on the season.

Utah State’s next game is against the Air Force Falcons on December 31. The Aggies vs. Falcons game is slated to broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
