SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – BYU running back Lopini Katoa needed to reach out to haul in a tremendous catch to set up BYU’s fifth touchdown of the first half.
Quarterback Zach Wilson threw to Katoa on the sideline who had to dive forward and bring in the ball with his finger tips in order to complete the 30-yard catch. On the very next play, Wilson threw his third touchdown pass of the game, connecting with wide receiver Neil Pau’u for a 35-yard strike.
That gave BYU a 35-7 lead over UCF in the Boca Raton Bowl.
