SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill ran for a touchdown on a QB keeper during the first half against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Saints hosted the Chiefs on Sunday, December 20.

With 10:21 remaining in the second quarter, Hill took the snap and ran up the middle for a one-yard touchdown.

Hill’s rush cut Kansas City’s lead to 14-7.

It was the fifth straight contest in which Hill has accounted for a touchdown.

It was his second run of the game.

One play earlier, Hill ran the ball for two yards and nearly into the end zone. Saints head coach Sean Payton challenged the call but the officials ruled that the call on the field stood.

After starting at quarterback for the Saints in the last four weeks, Hill returned to a “swiss army knife” role against the Chiefs as starter Drew Brees returned from injury.

The game between the Chiefs and Saints is broadcast on CBS.
