Boca Raton Bowl Announces Sellout For Game Between UCF, No. 17 BYU

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl announced that the upcoming game between the UCF Knights and No. 17 BYU Cougars is a sellout.
The Knights and Cougars will play at FAU Stadium on Tuesday, December 22.
“Due to pandemic protocols, the maximum allowed seats within FAU Stadium had already been decreased to 6,000 and those available tickets ran out quickly,” the bowl tweeted.

Aside from friends and family, the Cougars haven’t played in front of fans for the majority of the season. Family and friends have been able to watch the team in all but the first four contests.
BYU played in front of fans at Houston, vs. Texas State, vs. Western Kentucky, and at Coastal Carolina this season.
Boise State hosted the Cougars with 1,100 students, family, and friends in attendance.

UCF will enter the game with a 6-3 record this season.
BYU owns a 10-1 record.
The Cougars and Knights are tied 1-1 in the all-time series between the two schools.
BYU first played UCF in 2011. The Cougars and Knights last played in 2014.
The Boca Raton Bowl is scheduled to kick-off on Tuesday, December 22 at 5 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN and KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM.
