SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz continue to add players to their training camp roster. On Wednesday, the team announced they had signed rookie forward Tre Scott out of Cincinnati.
Scott spent five seasons including a redshirt freshman year with the Bearcats averaging 6.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 52 percent from the floor and 29 percent from the three-point line.
Standing 6’8 and weighing in at 225 lbs, Scott has prototypical size for the modern NBA wing.

Though his college numbers were modest, Scott brings an impressive resume to the Jazz. The forward was named 2019-20 AAC Defensive Player of the Year, the AAC Most Improved Player, and made All-AAC First Team.
Scott originally signed with the Puerto Rican Basketball club Leones de Ponces after college but opted to join the Jazz organization before the beginning of the regular season.
It’s been a busy week for the Jazz as the team has made a series of moves to fill out the final roster spots and prepare the Salt Lake City Stars for a potential G League season.
Last week, the Jazz signed free-agent guard Shaquille Harrison to a one year guaranteed contract. On Friday, the team signed former Stars guard Trevon Bluiett, and yesterday, the team waived guard Nigel Williams-Goss.
