BYU saw its last game against Boise State this past Saturday canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test result on the Broncos. The Cougars enter the game against UVU with a 3-1 record, while the Wolverines come into the Crosstown Clash with a 2-0 mark.
The game against UVU was supposed to be BYU’s last non-conference game of the season. BYU begins West Coast Conference play on December 28 against San Francisco in Provo.
Utah Valley has seen four of its non-conference games on the 2020-21 schedule canceled due to COVID-19. The Wolverines have three non-conference games remaining against Southern Utah (Dec. 18), at Montana (Dec. 21), and against Simpson University (Jan. 2) before the start of WAC play on January 8 against California Baptist.
