Three Local Cowboys Claim Four Championships At National Finals Rodeo

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A family in southern Utah had a great weekend at the National Finals Rodeo in Arlington, Texas.
Stetson Wright won the all-around world championship for the second straight time before claiming the bull riding title on Saturday. Stetson’s brother Ryder won the saddle bronc competition. It was the second time that Ryder won the saddle bronc crown.

Kaycee Feild from Genola, Utah won the bareback World Championship for the fifth time. It was one for the history books for Feild.
It all came down to the final round of the Wrangler NFR to crown the bareback riding world champion. Kaycee Feild came out on top and claimed his fifth world title 👑 pic.twitter.com/FD0niFitv0

All in all for the state of Utah, four championships were won by three different cowboys.
After the eighth round of the NFR world standings, Stetson was at the top of the leaderboard with $305,360. He went on to win round 9 with a 92-point record Rack’s Smoke Stack.
