Wilson, Kaufusi Share Special Moment After Final Snap Of BYU/SDSU Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Following BYU’s victory over San Diego State this past Saturday, teammates Zach Wilson and Isaiah Kaufusi shared a heartwarming moment.
Following the victory formation, Wilson embraced Kaufusi and handed him the game ball.
It was Kaufusi’s last snap at LaVell Edwards Stadium as a senior linebacker.

The Cougars beat San Diego State 28-14 on Saturday posting a final record of 10-1.
On Sunday, it was announced the Cougars will play UCF in the Boca Raton bowl.
Isaiah Kaufusi’s BYU Career
Kaufusi has had a stellar career as a BYU Cougar, playing in 48 games and posting 118solo tackles. He has five career sacks, four of which happened in 2020 and five career interceptions.
Kaufusi is a homegrown player from Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
