QB Zach Wilson Throws TD Pass To WR Dax Milne On BYU’s Opening Drive Against SDSU

PROVO, Utah – BYU quarterback Zach Wilson tossed a touchdown pass to his favorite target, wide receiver Dax Milne, on the Cougars’ opening drive against the San Diego State Aztecs.
The No. 18 Cougars hosted the Aztecs at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, December 12.
With 10:56 remaining in the first quarter, Wilson found Milne in the flat. The receiver took the ball into the end zone for a five-yard touchdown.
The Wilson-Milne connection gave BYU a 7-0 lead over San Diego State.

After the drive, Wilson was 5/7 passing for 58 yards and a touchdown.
It was Wilson’s 28th passing touchdown of the season.
Milne had two catches for 23 yards and a touchdown on the opening possession of the contest.
The catch was Milne’s eight touchdown reception of 2020.
