BYU Women’s Basketball Game Against Boise State Postponed Due To COVID-19

PROVO, Utah – The BYU women’s basketball home game against Boise State scheduled to be played on Saturday has been postponed.
Due to a positive Boise State COVID-19 test and in following contact tracing protocols, Saturday’s women’s basketball game between BYU and Boise State has been postponed.

BYU issued a press release on Friday with the following statement:
Due to a positive Boise State COVID-19 test and in following contact tracing protocols, Saturday’s women’s basketball game between BYU and Boise State has been postponed.
Both sides are working to see if the game can be rescheduled.
The test result came back and the game was postponed before Boise State departed for Provo.
This is the first game of the BYU women’s basketball schedule that has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
BYU only has one non-conference remaining before beginning West Coast Conference play against San Francisco on December 28. The same goes for 3-0 Boise State who doesn’t begin Mountain West Conference play until December 16.
BYU is 3-1 this season after defeating Montana State on Thursday in the Marriott Center. Boise State is 3-0, defeating their opponents by an average of 31 points this season.
