SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah football’s game against the Colorado Buffaloes has been moved to the primetime Big Noon Kickoff spot on Fox this upcoming Saturday after originally being scheduled for FS1 on Friday night. The move now gives the Utes a higher chance of winning.
Following Utah’s first victory of the year last Saturday evening at home against the Beavers, Utah got straight back to work the following day with film study late Sunday afternoon as they began their preparations for the Buffaloes.

Generally, Utah will begin their weekly routing on Monday. However, because the game was originally scheduled for Friday night, as opposed to the standard Saturday fixture, Utah decided it was in their best interest to get a head start.
The move to Saturday gives this young Utah team an extra day of practice, film study, and rest.
However, the extra day will also give some of the Utah players chance to breathe.
Finals Week At The U
The University of Utah is currently conducting final exams for the fall semester. Throughout this week, Utah’s players have been hard at work both on the football field and online as they study and take their finals.
As somebody who has dealt with the added pressure and stress of finals week, I can guarantee that the extra day’s rest will provide valuable and beneficial for a young group attempting to beat the undefeated Buffaloes.
Utah will now depart Salt Lake City en route for Denver, Colorado Friday afternoon as opposed to Thursday afternoon. Those players who have finals due on Friday will now (hopefully) be able to complete them before boarding their flight.
Sitting in a hotel with the anticipation of a game looming while worrying about completing a final exam is no recipe for victory, trust me.

The 21st ranked Buffaloes are hoping to secure their fifth consecutive victory over the Utes following wins against UCLA, Stanford, San Diego State and Arizona already this year.
Utah picked up their lone victory against Oregon State last Saturday evening and will be looking to string two wins on the trot to put them back at .500 on the season.
