Brennan wrote on the post, “This is personal. Not just because it’s @BYUfootball, my alma mater, but because Dayan and Madi Lake are such good people and friends. Congrats to Dayan as he heads to New England as their newest DB.”
This week the Patriots are in action against Lake’s old team, the L.A. Rams, for Thursday Night Football in California. Kickoff is at 6:20 p.m. (MT) on FOX.
Lake’s contract with the Patriots reportedly puts him on New England’s practice squad this season.
Source confirms the #Patriots are expected to sign former Rams and BYU cornerback Dayan Lake to their practice squad.
The Pats showed interest after Lake went undrafted last April.
