Green appeared in 25 games for the Utes between 2017-19. His best game came against BYU in 2018 when he rushed for 45 yards on eight carries. He was also influential against Colorado in the same year when he had 43 yards on nine carries.
Unfortunately, despite having success and showing his ability to beat defenders in open space, Green was constantly stuck down the bottom of the depth chart. During his career at Utah, he was competing for time with Utah’s leading rusher Zack Moss. Green was always sidelined, patiently waiting for his time.
Ahead of the 2020 season, Green was competing with a flurry of talented young running backs including Devin Brumfield, Jordan Wilmore and Ty Jordan who were all expected to be ahead of him in the ranks.
Green will join Liberty University, led by head coach Hugh Freeze and will have two seasons left to prove his worth. He joins the Flames as a redshirt junior.
