Utah State Allows 35 Unanswered Points In Blowout Loss To Air Force

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies allowed Air Force to score 35 unanswered points and were blown out in a home loss to the Falcons.
USU hosted Air Force at Maverik Stadium on Thursday, December 3.
After taking a 7-0 lead following the first series of the game, Utah State’s offense stalled and its defense allowed the Air Force Academy to score five touchdowns without a response.
Air Force defeated Utah State, 35-7.
The Aggies lose to the Air Force Falcons and fall to 1-5 on the season.

The Falcons scored 14 points in the second quarter to own a 21-7 advantage at halftime.
Air Force added a touchdown in each of the next two quarters to earn the four-touchdown victory.

USU quarterback Andrew Peasley was 17/32 passing for 123 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.
Peasley led the Aggies’ rushing attack with 53 yards on eight carries.
The Falcons outgained the Aggies on the ground, 334-109.

With the loss, USU fell to 1-5 on the season.
Utah State’s next game is against the Colorado State Rams on Saturday, December 12. The Aggies and Rams are slated to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. (MDT) on CBS Sports Network.
