BYU/Utah Basketball Game Lands Afternoon Tip Time On BYUtv

PROVO, Utah – Four BYU basketball non-conference games received tip times, including the rivalry game against Utah.
BYU will host the Utah Utes on Saturday, Dec. 12, in Provo at 4 p.m. (MT), and the game will air on BYUtv.

The historic rivalry matchup ended up on BYUtv due to college football having a full slate of games on Dec. 12. It will be BYU’s second game against a Pac-12 team in the non-conference portion of the Cougars schedule.
Last season, Utah upset BYU at the Huntsman Center, 102-95 in overtime.
The other three games to receive tip times and TV info on BYU’s non-conference schedule include Boise State on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m., Dec. 21 against Texas Southern at 7 p.m., and in-state foe Weber State at the Vivint Arena on Dec. 23 at 5 p.m. All of these games will be televised on BYUtv.
Only two games on BYU’s non-conference schedule don’t have TV info established yet. Those include a pair of games at Mountain West Conference venues against Utah State on Dec. 5 and San Diego State on Dec. 18. The MWC owns television rights for those broadcasts.
