SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Valley University Women’s basketball team is on pause because of a positive COVID-19 test within the team.

Because of the pause, three games will be canceled, starting with the game scheduled for Wednesday against Idaho State.

Saturday’s Dec. 5 game against UNLV and the Dec. 12 game against Montana State have also been canceled.

According to the release, any new information regarding the UVU Women’s basketball schedule will be posted online, here.

The team’s first game against Utah was canceled because the Utah Women’s Basketball team paused the season due to COVID-19. They played their second scheduled game against Southern Utah, beating the Thunderbirds, 58-47.

The next game slated following the cancelations is on Dec. 15 against the BYU Cougars.
